How much would you be willing to spend to save a life?
At Community Rescue Service (CRS), we maintain nine equipped ambulances, staffed with five trained advanced life support teams at the ready 24 hours a day, 365 days a year to respond to your calls for medical emergencies. When our ambulance arrives on the scene of an emergency, we have to ensure we have the right equipment to provide the medical treatment necessary in any situation. The cost of being prepared for any type of emergency you or your family member might experience is high. A fully equipped and stocked ambulance costs more than $350,000 and that does not include having the ambulance staffed by two crew members for 8,760 hours each year.
Our professional crews have risked their health during the Covid-19 Pandemic to be available for you and your family in your hour of need. In order to keep our patients and you and your family safe, we have had to invest in additional personal protective and sanitation equipment. These costs are in addition to our normal cost of providing service.
We were there for you and your family. Now, we are counting on you to be there for us.
CRS is a 501(c(3) nonprofit corporation. We are not a government agency and are not funded solely by taxpayer dollars The costs we incur are paid for primarily with money we receive from billing for our services and from our Subscribers.
However, we cannot bill for all of our responses and not all of our invoices are paid. As a result, the money we receive for our transports does not cover 100% of the cost to provide the quality services you and your family members deserve.
Please consider supporting CRS with a membership subscription! Holding a membership subscription to CRS, protects you and the members of your household from any out-of-pocket expenses for claims or deductibles disallowed by the insurance company. A one-time annual subscription fee of $60 ($0.17/day) or if you are age 65 or older, $50 ($0.14/day) could provide you with financial peace of mind.
